Using a water flosser in the shower

You can, if the model is made for it. Waterpik says many of its cordless models are designed for shower use, but to check the manual for your model. The Waterpik cordless listings we read say waterproof for shower use, and the Philips and COSLUS listings show an IPX7 rating. Keep any corded flosser out of the shower.

Shower safety
- Never charge it in the shower. Philips says not to clean its cordless flosser with the charging cord and adapter attached, and to close the charging port cover. Treat the shower the same way.
- Shower water is often hot. Keep the tank water at a temperature that feels comfortable in your mouth.
- Dry the charging contacts before you plug it back in.
